Hello there: I´m Enrique Dueñas, from Spain. Sorry my english!! I have a project consisting of 5 movies based in the Silmarillion Tales. The movies are independent but all the saga tell the complete history of the Silmarils and Beleriand. Each movie is about 100 minutes long and are very faithfull to the original but can be understood without read the book. The movies are: -The curse of Feanor -Beren and Luthien -Sons of Hurin -Fall of Gondolin -War of Wrath I finished the script of "Fall of Gondolin", beacuse is my favorite story. You can read it (in spanish) here: www.elfenomeno.com/info/ver/19657/titulo/Gui%C3%B3n-de-La-Ca%C3%ADda-de-GondolinI´m working now in the script of "War of Wrath". I am very curious about your idea and if i can help, i will help.

Wish that I could read spanish but alas, I can only stumble through some French. I was wondering about you doing only 5 films and only at 100 minutes a piece. I would think that a lot of information would be omitted or glazed over to get it done in such a short time. Maybe I'm wrong; good writing to you nonetheless.

(I know it's been a long time, but I can't find any other method of reaching kikefriki)
Thank you very much for linking us to your script. With the use of Google Translate, and my own head, I'm going to work up an English translation of it. This will still be entirely credited to you, of course, and if you wish me to stop you need only say, but I glanced over your script and was very impressed, so I think it could only be a good thing.

Scene 1: Battlefield. Ext Day
[The sky is clouded over. A warrior, Gelion, hurries forward through the snow. Around him we see only a white landscape. He pauses a moment, gasping for air, and looks worried. Then he resumes his run. Before him stands a mound. Gelion ascends, and we see the view from the top: a battlefield littered with corpses. There is not a living soul in sight. Fallen banners, broken spears and blood everywhere. The warrior is horrified]
[He decides to go down slowly and begins to walk among the dead. He is looking for someone. Suddenly, a hand moves behind him, the hand of Huor who, although badly wounded, is not dead yet.
HUOR: (with difficulty) Hurin ...
[Gelion stops in his tracks and runs back to Huor]
GELION: My lord!
HUOR: Hurin... is it you?
GELION: No, my lord. It's Gelion. Do you remember?
HUOR: Yes... where is Hurin? Where is my brother?
GELION: He was captured, my lord. I'm sorry... I was too late...
HUOR: [sorrowful] Help me... to get up... Gelion...
GELION: Gladly, my lord.
[The warrior obeys]
HUOR: (angrily) Morgoth... This is all his fault! I curse him and his army of vermin!
GELION: My lord, don't get excited...
HUOR: It matters not. The darkness is calling me. This is my time... today... here...
GELION: No, my lord, you will live for many years...
HUOR: Do not talk nonsense, Gelion... this is the end...
GELION: (sorrowful) What I can do for you?
HUOR: Nothing... go, and never wield a sword again...
GELION: What of your son?
HUOR: Yes, my son... Annael and the elves will take care of him... now go, live away from war and death ... agh!
GELION: My lord!
HUOR: Goblins... those beasts... they are come to loot our bodies...
GELION: ... I'm getting you out of here.
[Gelion pulls Huor onto his back and flees. From the top of the mound the goblins watch them go, before pouncing on the bodies of their enemies. Thousands of vile goblins, hunched, with green skin and yellow eyes, out to steal the weapons and armor and feed on the fallen like hyenas. Gelion passes out of sight]
Scene 2. A Mountaintop. Ext Day
[Gelion looks sadly on the tomb of Huor, a simple pole standing upright in the snow, surrounded by a few stones]
GELION: Goodbye, Huor son of Galdor, brave captain... and friend. I will follow your last counsel.
[The warrior throws his sword onto the grave and turns away]
