I am sad to report that I have not been able to find the missing outlines to several scenes. I know that they must be in a alt-notebook somewhere filed away. I have outlines for only three more scenes. I will look through my stuff again but if I can't find them by Wednesday, I'll just post what I have left and then work on the some storyboards.

Dearest G- Hey buddy, I just wanted to say THANK YOU, SO VERY MUCH for all the hard work and this unique behind the scenes look you have so graciously provided us (me). Sorry I've been out of pocket, but I'm just beginning to recover from the fog I was in and I am now heavily entrenched in another class. But my co-worker has returned from vacation and life should get back to some sense of normalcy-----at least what is normal for my hectic pace. I am so looking forward to seeing your story boards. I've had an idea rumbling around in my head for an alternate prologue which I intend to present for your viewing soon and I promise soon, like within the next two weeks. I know it won't be in the next few days because the first week of this class requires reading three chapters and providing three essays one for each chapter as well as discussion post, each at 300 words, in addition I have to take a quizz and a test. But all the other weeks are supposed to just one chapter and one essay, plus a discussion post and a quizz and a test. Let me get this week under my belt and I'll try to find some time to throw my idea out there. We don't have to go with it, I just want to see what you think of it. Don't worry about the missing outlines. I mean we (I) would love to see them, but you have been so gracious to provide us (me) with what you have thus for and I am eternally grateful. I loved the Feanor speech, that was pretty cool. I'll be checking in every night even if I don't post and I'll do my best to get on this weekend (no promises).

Thanks for your interest and posting Tamitha. I know that you and HV are doing school stuff and other projects so just post when you get the chance. I don't want this to come in the way of school work (I have a 3rd grader and a high school sophomore at home ;D ) . I have been enjoying posting my notes and outlines. It has allowed me to reread and rethink somethings about the script. Hopefully the final edited script will be stronger because of it.
The storyboards are coming along but slowly. I did some really basic drawings and was not satisfied. I tried a more detailed look and got frustrated at the results. Now, I'm trying to stay sharp and simple, "middle of the road", with it all. Some panels will be detailed and others will be vague but will get the point across. Example; a close up of Feanor at the trees may have more detail than the Kin-slaying because of all the components that make up the scene at Alqualonde. I will start to put some up on Thursday.
Hope to hear from you soon, when you get the change. I'm learning from a tree-herder, not to be so hasty! ;D

Well, that's all the outlines that I can find. I did add a few scenes with out any outlines done but I know that I'm missing at least 3 if not 4 that I wrote in/on another note pad. Anyway, I will start on the storyboards and will get all that I have posted by this Sunday.

Okay, cool, that will be awesome! Again thank you for putting so much time and effort into this. Your time, talent and abilities are greatly appreciated, even though it may seem at times you are all alone. The "ring" is yours to bear, but your Sam is here to support, encourage and be the voice of reason when it all gets overwhelming and dark and muddled.

This is my once a week check in until April 13. I wanted to get some storyboards up last week, but my kids on spring-break and other projects prevented that. I somehow ended up listening to the entire Silmarillion on audio-book again. I didn't mean to do it but once I got to Beren and Luthien, I could not stop. ;D Nevertheless, I hope to just do storyboards for FOTN and work on some other projects non-Arda related until after Easter. Take care.

Thanks for checking in! I've been swamped and truly haven't had a chance to get on board. Truely I might have been able to this weekend, but my mother tied up my ENTIRE day yesterday, which put me scrambling to complete my homework and ate up valuable time which I might have been able to spare here. As I said I've idea for an alternate prologue that I want to share with you as SOON as I can catch a break. In the meantime I will be looking forward to your story boards. I'm sure I will find them inspirational and extremely helpful in the editing process. I really need to get the book from the Library again and read it again. I've read it twice, but it's been over a year since I read it and college had inundated me with massive amounts of info that I am failing to retain due to OVERLOAD. So I'm not fresh on the story anymore and the Silm is quite complex. Rest assured I'm still lurking in the shadows and have full intentions of continuing to assist you with this, it's just slow going AS USUAL. If we were independently wealthy and could sit down in person for about six months and do nothing but hammer this out, well who knows what kind of a master piece we might create, but such as it is it will be a long, drawn out labor of love that will be no less its worth. HAPPY EASTER! (from your Sam)

My weekly check in; still storyboarding. Tamitha, don't fret about not being able to get to the boards. I know that things will eventually slow down for you and it, and I, can wait until then. Having a lot of money so we can sit down and do it right... It tempts me to play the lotto, but you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning. That would be an ironic twist...to win a couple million dollars and then get struck dead the next day! Now, if I got struck by lightning first and survived...then I would by a lotto ticket! ;D I've added to my Tolkien-esque book collection buy buying "A Tolkien Bestiary - Beasts of Middle Earth", this past weekend with a 50% off coupon (only $5 for a good/fair hard-cover) at Half-Price Books. Anyway, stay focused and I hope to l get with you again next week.
Have a very "good" Good Friday and a very Happy "Resurrection Day"! ;D if I don't post before then. ;D
