Oh yeah! I'm pumped! Popped on over from the PPC just to see if there's anything I can do. Need Elvish? I can do Sindarin. And character designing, I can do that, too. Bado na siidh! Berz.

Hi! I'm Meitian, I run the Official Fanfiction University of Belisaere, and I've been reading the PPC stories for nearly a year now, and have been writing fanfiction and publishing it online for about a year. Came over from the PPC board because a Silm movie sounds awesome fun.

Hello all! This be Fawkes (who had to register twice because this computer isn't very nice). Anyway! Erm...yeah. I was option not-doing-cartoon as some sort of director/filming/cotume...person (well, actually, I'd get other people that I know to do costume.) But, that failing, I'd be happy to be a voice...or...at least do...something...else. Well, anyway! I be here!

My name is not Nerdanel. I am not that famous Nerdanel, it's just that I have sort of gotten stuck with this name. I know there is at least yet one other Nerdanel (or rather nerdanel) but I'm not that person either.
Way back in the spring of 2000 I thought myself very clever in choosing the name of an obscure Elf from The Silmarillion and not a variant of Galadriel or Éowyn like everyone else. I had no idea how popular the movies would become.
I hail from Finland and was one of the more extreme, although not the most vocal, revisionists in the movie battles. I hope you don't mind.

Hallo Nerdanel and Fawkes! Fawkes, you can change your display name to get rid of the one if you want. It's in your profile. And crazy French women are scary.

Hey, all! Welcome to everyone I recognize from the PPC, and "hail & well met" to those I don't know. I'm Nenya, NenyaQuende, Nenya Kanadka, depending whether you know me from the PPC or LJ or wherever. Claim to fame is making the first 'official charge list' for LOTR way back when. I love the idea of making a Silm film, but am not sure what I can contribute. Still, I'll hang around! (Oh, and may I say I ADORE the mini-balrog icon?!) (That'd be Glorfindal and Elftone...) --Nenya

Elftone? That's a good one.. I guess I should introduce my minis, if you've got yours here. Meridac and Same say hallo. Ooh.. something I've always wanted to ask.. is the 'Kanadka' in 'Nenya Kanadka' intended to mean Canadian? If so, I know that's not Czech, but it's certainly Slavic.. *feels smrat* Either that or I'm very very off.

Yes, "Elftone" is truly a gem among minis. He has a lovely singing voice, dontcha know. He and Glori say hi to Same and Meridac! And yes indeed! "Kanadka" is the Russian word for "Canadian woman/girl." I don't speak Czech, but I'm trying to learn Russian. It's really interesting, though, that if you know one Slavic language you can pick up bits here and there in others. Especially for simple things like posters or LOTR websites (where I know most of the content anyway, only in English). Just like Romance languages like French and Spanish and Italian all have similarities, I guess. Anyhow. is Silmarillian, Rosie's rather bookish mini, who's just dropped in to see Glorfindal and wants to stay for the SilmFilm...

Ah, I'll bring my mini to play with yours, then. <- this is Utumo. He likes eating fangirls and building dark fortresses.

Oh, and about my qualifications, I took part in writing the Project W.I.N.K.L.E. parody script on TORC if anyone remembers that. It taught me all I know about writing scripts.
I have also written some fanfiction.

Spiff, then. Slavic languages are nice.. ^^ Yes, I'm Czech. So - heh. That is to say, my mum's Czech and I lived there for five years, so.. yes.
