Artists, you can post all your pretty pictures here! These don't have to be related to the films (that will get its own thread later), just show off your talent.

If anyone wants to see what I'm capable of, the link to my DeviantArt gallery is on my profile. Sorry for the bad selection, I'm in the process of getting more stuff up on there by Christmas.

I think this looks somewhat Teleri-ish, so...

Aww! I love it Leny! I never can do a design with two sides... I always mess up. So, yours is cool! We should use it, but I don't how... I guess it's too early to start one part before others.
Anyway, wonderful!

Whoops, just noticed how big that is...the one on paper is only about four inches long... Why did the scanner make it huge?

Re: That pretty design.
Possibly use it, repeated, on the hems of Olwe's clothing for the Alqualonde sequence? I'd say put it on his crown, but that should really feature a swan, so the hems... but I'm not a designer, it might look terrible.

You can resize it though in photo editor or with adobe photoshop. It doesn't mess it up, but makes it smaller or actual size. [glow=green,2,300]Hedwig says, Hello Goomi Bears![/glow] ;D

Hello all Not sure if this is the right place to post this but... ...I just had an idea for a possible logo for the project... basically I thought it might be cool to have each of the three " i's " in Silmarillion represented by the three silmarills themselves. Here's a quick example I've put together of the kind of thing I mean (though the picture hosting service I just found to host it seems to have compressed it even more, thus lowering the quality - making it look a bit ropey, but you'll get the idea)... img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-2/958086/silmlogo.jpgIt nothing special I know (not sure about the font & the background's awful) - but I think with a bit of work it might look OK... ...well it's an idea at least - see what you think.

Don't worry! It's lovely, and it is a start, which we really need right now. It does harken back to the Zelda days... Which does look cool.

I /do/ like that title font.
Out of interest, Hador, were you thinking of putting the actual film title underneath the 'Silmarillion' title, or as a second fade-in thingy?
And to everyone, d'you think it'd be best to have the titles over black, or over part of the prologue? In my current script it's the latter, but...?
(Yes, I'm trying to get someone other than the Scriptwriters working on project-specific stuff. Be glad I haven't asked for a teaser poster for FotN yet)
