I would just like to get to know everyone before we start... No, you don't need to tell you're life's story just introduce yourself and give a short bio. I would just like to get to know my fellow artists... as laid back as i possibly can [glow=yellow,2,300]Hedwig says, Hello Gumi Bears![/glow]

Meitian, humble young artist. Started drawing seriously about age 9 when I wanted to be able to draw Sailor Moon. (*sweatdrop*) Have since branched out into my own drawing style, which is more realistic. Has trouble drawing men (though not so much anymore) and anything short. Likes talking in fragments rather than real sentences.

Hola! I am Ké; my full name is much longer and Sue-ish and full of unneccessary vowels, but I've grown attached to it, so...
Umm, I wanted to be an artist when I was five. Then I switched to dentist, photographer, psychologist, cat-lady, and back to artist. I work mostly in acrylics and watercolour pencils, as I don't have actual watercolours. Stupid no money... I'm horrible at human figures, decent at faces, and I've been told my landscapes are quite lovely. Hopefully I'll have some more work up soon to prove it. I also adore music and am semi-working-on, semi-forgetting-about a painting based on U2's 'Running To Stand Still'.
Whee!

Good! It sounds like we're going to have a lot of fun, it's nice to have a chance to know everyone. As for me well, I've been interested in art for as long as i can remember, though i've never taken it seriously more of like an "Art is my buddy" attitude... Well, i really can't remember how long i have been drawing but, i do know that my earliest memory was when i had fully illustraited the walls of my room, with crayons... I got in trouble for that little bit. More or less, people in school, work, family or friends have always identified me with my art. I'm not too serious about it, as i said before i'm pretty laid back about it. Name wise, you can just call me Ka...or Jess if you want to be formal. And as you can see, I'm obsessed with Hedwig!! ;D Thanks! I find your participation helpful and enjoyable. I like to get to know people in a project to better communicate and make friends. ~Ka~ [glow=blue,2,300]Hello Gumi Bears![/glow]

*waves* Hiya! I'm Chronicler... or Saphy... or Rath, depending on where you know me from. I do some pencil sketches, but those are mostly chibi-ish Anime and not very realistic. I am, however, very good with oil paints, and doing still life and landscaping in particular. I have quite a bit of experience with Photoshop, and a little with Flash. I am currently working on getting a degree in Fine Arts. We have very artistic people here! Nice to see you all! ~ Chronicler ~

Hey all, I'm 'Leny. I'm not really all that good at art, better at graphic design sorts of things. Love drawing celtic knots. Alright at anime heads, but have much trouble with bodies. According to my friend Otaku, I draw the best hair ever, but I think she's trying to make me feel better. I listen to just about any kind of music, but my favourites are Celtic and 80s. Oh, and Irtrad, but that's sort of like Celtic... I'm willing to do pretty much anything someone tells me to, as long as it's not illegal or immoral I can be convinced, and likely won't take much convincing. I love doing crazy stuff. As of right now I'm very very hyper and happy, feel like I've been on a sugar high for three days...Wahoo! ;D ;D ;D ~'Leny

I did a random doodle awhile ago that seems very Teleri-ish...I'll have to see about getting it scanned.

Well, I felt I should share some of my own so, here's a sketch I did awhile back, in school. I swear, If my school was a little more creative, I wouldn't doodle over all of my papers... www.deviantart.com/deviation/12574077/Hope you like. Sorry it's sideways, you can blame me and my frustration with the scanner. I hate that thing!

I must see about getting Falkor to join us here. She's good. (Ka, you'd love Falkor. Yet another obsessive Labyrinth fan)

Well, I'm really more of a CG person, but i can do clothes and weaponry. I can also do pencil/charcoal sketches of landscapes. I have experince with Photoshop, and I love designing layouts. So if and when we ever get to the actual disc thingabobbers... Anyways, clothes, weaponry, and CG.

Hello, all! I'm Gundamkiwi, but no one ever calls me that ~ Kiwi or Gunny are what most people call me. ^_^ (side-note, because I get asked this a lot: I am, sadly, not from New Zealand, but I want to say that I was in love with the country waaay before PJ decided to make movies there. So there. ) I draw mostly in the anime style, but that's only because I'm lazy and anime is a nice default style. If you give me a reference, I can reproduce most other styles without too much difficulty. I'm best at drawing people, but don't ask me to design stuff like clothes or backgrounds, 'cos I'm not *that* creative. ^^; Nice to meet you all. ^_^

I'm HiddenValor, and I just want to say I am totally psyched about this project! Anyway, I'm good at drawing people, females especially--both semi-realistic and my own version of anime.

Don't know if the summit ever happened because it was before my time. I would like to see some examples posted, if people are willing, of past work and styles. There may be a thread for that already but anyway... just a thought.

Dear, sweet "G" I don't believe the Summit ever happened. Prior to Hiddenvalor the last post here was a full three years ago. I don't know if Lennaire is still lurking about, hopefully derleu hasn't bailed on us and there were a couple of others that had peeked in that really had some talent, so I hope everyone is still around. I like you would like to see at least some primlinary work. The script won't be worth much without actors/actresses, artists and musicians to bring it to life. I really have to bail out now though. It's past my bedtime, I have to get up at 4:30 a.m. and work all day and then I have 10 million things to do when I get off of work getting ready to go back to Indiana on Friday after work and I've spent all of my study time hanging out here with you and Hiddenvalor. My Government teacher isn't going to be amused - I fear she just will not see the same literary value in this little project of ours that we do - she's into Plato and Aristotle, not Tolkien. (ha, ha) Good luck with everything. I think you will find Hiddenvalor to be quite an asset. She appears to be a go-getter. Perhaps that's what this project is in dire need of - a fresh set of eyes and a new perspective to energize it.
