I like that one too and the scene just before Hurin is captured.

When Turin stands before Glaurung at the fall of Nargothrond and names himself Turin Turambar, the Master of Fate. Then I also love what is written on his gravestone, Turin, Master of Fate, by Fate Mastered.

You know, I've got to say my favorite scene is the the fall of Fingolfin during Dagor Bragollach. When I read it in the book, I put myself into that scene and it felt so powerful; tearjerking almost. Now, online there is lots of concept art about this but I feel that putting yourself in Fingolfin's situation is just breathtaking. The amount of courage to go up to the gates of Angband and challenging Morgoth is chill worthy... this scene would really describe Fingolfin's character I believe.

Shockingly, it looks like I never actually answered this one! Shame on me, I know.
Hmm... I admit I've always been fond of the very beginning, the Ainulindale and the Valaquenta. For the 'Quenta' itself... not sure. I'd have to think about it.
Hopefully for less than ten years this time. ^_^
