For myself, while I'm attracted to the drama and glamour of the Noldor, and share some of their aesthetic tastes, I think I slightly prefer the Teleri; (specifically the Sindar.) Their whole culture, their love of the stars, and of poetry, seems about right.
A lively poll to inject some spirit into this section...

Good idea, Maeglin. I'll have to concur with what you said about the Noldor and the Teleri (and Sindar) too. *nod nod* ~ Chronicler ~

Curses, how to vote... what is a Noldo/Teler half-breed to do these days?
Hmm... I feel Telerin today, I think. [Proceeds to vote for that] Obviously not enough violence recently.

So the pretty-haired Vanyar get no love?
Good, good...

The Vanyar are, as I've said before, the original dumb blondes. Even the Noldo/Vanya half-breed of the PPC agrees with me on this.
We hates the Vanyar. What can they do except sit around all day singing? Where would /we/ have got if we sang all day? Not over to Endor, that's for certain.
Stupid golden-haired morons. The only one I've ever liked is one I wrote specifically so I'd like her.

The Vanyar, (Which I chose) Remind me of hedwig... Personally, I love the Noldor. It's an artist-to-artist thing... They lived and fought by their copyright laws! Whooosa!

In spite of the fact that I have somewhat against the Noldor because of the Kinslaying, not all of the Noldor were involved in that. I agree the Vanyar are dumb blonde do nothings, lazy. But the Teleri can't make a desicion. They drag their feet, take too long to decide to go to Aman, and then stay on Tol Eressa Island in view of both Aman and Middle-Earth because they are torn about where they really want to be. The Noldor know what they want, where they are going and are willing to die trying to make their dreams come true. That describes me. That is who I am. I don't like to fight, but I'm not afraid to. I know what I want, and where I am going and will do whatever is necessary (within the law and honestly) to make it happen.

I confess that I'd rather be some kind of "Vanyar-Teleri-misc" if I can express it that way... Vanyar because they are gentle of spirit, but Telerin because they are very... emotional. I mean, not only in case of wrath, but also in case of sadness or joy.

Sometimes I feel that I should be marked down with the Teleri (Sindar), specifically an Eöl type, but ultimately I'm Noldor.

I know that I would be a Noldorin elf.
I would even go so far as to say that I would most likely be a close relation to Feanor and his family. They tend to have the same personality traits and artistic intensity as I do.

I would have to choose Noldor. Quenya and all its Noldorin variations seem more natural to my toungue than any other Eldarin toungue Tolkien has concieved. And my heart remains with them when I read Tolkiens works.
