Hello! Greetings! Welcome, Anneli. We are so happy to have you here. Please do stay and help us. We are in dire need of artists and musicians, but Huinesoron and I will welcome assistance with editing the script as well. hS is our resident leader, but he doesn't like to admit it, Derleu and Starlight are our artists/musicians. I like to call my-self helping with the script, but I think hS would tell you I have been sent here from the Void just to harass him. hS is our expert on Middle-Earth and the Eldar, so he will be thrilled to have someone else he can communicate with in Quenya. I don't know the languages, I just like the books and movies and I want to see this one come to life on screen. So I write, TOO MANY WORDS, so says hS.
Oh, how wonderfully, magnificent, another girl! Maybe you can help me keep these boys in line. JUST KIDDING GUYS! JUUUSSSTTTT KIDDING! (Never, get so serious you forget how to have fun.) (If that isn't one of Bilbo's sayings it should have been. ha, ha)
Anyway, welcome. Feel free to jump in anywhere. Any and all help is welcomed.

It's all lies! I am no leader! LIES, I tell you!
Ahem...
Hello, Anneli. It's always always good to have more people around. Even though it makes it even harder for me to slack off. Sigh.
Also: ooh. Quenya. If I had my notes handy I'd insert some pithy remark in that fair language, but sadly I don't. Woe. :(

anneli Your welcome, but don't hide out in here, Vanyar though you may be. You really must come out and play with us. Writers get intense from time to time when they feel strongly about something, but for the most part we are just having fun, or at least trying to. Just visit the threads, even if they don't have any recent posts and when you find your passion, then share your ideas. Sometimes ideas get shot down for one reason or another, but for the most part we are a very open group. We love new ideas.

Anneli! I don't know where you disappeared to, but I am going away for a very long while, possibly a month. Please, look after the guys for me while I'm gone. hS gets lonely when no one talks to him, so don't let him get idle while I'm away, okay?

Ai na vedui, glad to be approved and posting! The delay gave me some time to read and read and read... a lot of good ideas and intentions here. I had decided to do a Silmarillion project on my own after I read the book this past year and was elated to find like minded people. I stumbled across the site while lurkering over at Barrow-Downs. My take on bringing the book to life visually was to do an "AniMatrix" type of treatment with several stories told by different characters and presented with different looks. Anyway, glad to be here and finally Mae govannen!

Welcome Glorfindel! We are glad to have you and are looking forward to your input. Not sure what you specialties are, but any and all help is welcome. hS and I are very busy so the script lags from time to time, but we'll get there eventually. We need graphic artists and musicians to bring our words to life. Thank you for joining us.

Well, I write a little and have a fantasy series that I'm working on (kind of like Sinbad meets Pirates of the Caribbean meets Middle Earth). I'm in the IT field and am in the process of learning some computer graphic\animation but I'm a long way off from getting it down. I got started with that after fooling around with Photoshop and other image manipulation programs. I don't play an instrument ( more of a listener/critic) but my brother teaches guitar and my daughter has played violin for six years; I defer to them on music items that I need to get done. I will help anyway I can. Since I work on a computer for at least half a day on the weekdays, I will be on the board pretty regularly.
Thanks

I really need to post more... Anyway.
Welcome to the all the new members! *waves* I'm technically the one in charge of this board, though I've been absent quite a bit lately.
On that note, Glorfindel, apologies for the delay in approving your account. I usually keep on top of that better, but I've been on vacation for the last week. That fantasy series you're working on sounds very interesting, by the way. ^_^
Anyway, I'm glad you've all taken an interest in this project, and it's nice to see something actually going on here!

PS - Tamitha, Anneli, that's very true; the boys do need looking after, don't they? ^_~

@chronicler: So happy you joined us. I've been working pretty closely with hS for awhile, until I had to take my leave. For awhile it was just me and 3 guys. I felt outnumbered, but then Anneli came along. I asked hS about you more than once because I knew you had really been active at one time. As soon as I can get a little more settled in my new surroundings I will get back to working on the script.
@glorifindel: Wow, awesome, you are like going to be a huge asset to us. Yes, there is a lot of reading. I checked out the forum for over a month before I decided to join, just trying to get a feel for it. Originally I wasn't intending on getting as involved as I did, but I was encouraged to help out with the script and so I tried my hand at a couple of scenes and met with the approval of hS so I dove in. We were actually making a lot of progress, but I had to bail and hS got idle in my absence, but we'll get jump started again soon. But there is enough out there for our resident musicians to start working on and for our graphic artists to play with too. Wow, I'm actually beginning to see some hope for this project after all.

Hello all,
My name is Lennaire, I live in New Jersey very close to NYC and I am currently trying to make a living as an actor and voice actor.
I will be making my voice-acting demo in the next month or two and hopefully it will be good enough to get myself some work in the animation field.
I do come from a theater background but I am trying to break into the TV and Film sides of acting now.
