Which version of the Silmarillion are we using here? Most of what I used in FotN was the published, but I did throw in bits of HoME which were written later than the version Christopher Tolkien used in the Silm. So which do we want? The flawed version written by Christopher? The mish-mash of 'whatever works' that I used (Amrod dying at Losgar, but Orodreth staying as Finrod's brother)? Or the version Tolkien actually intended (with, of course, changes to accomodate the medium)? (Most of the differences, incidentally, can be found at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finw%C3%AB It, however, says that Amras, not Amrod, was named Umbarto/Ambarto. I disagree. Ambarto->Amrod is an easy link. Ambarto->Amras isn't. Ambarussa->Amras is, and that's the name both twins went by. The only difference is in which was called Ambarto. So there)

Well, as the entire active membership of the board has now reported in, mish-mash it is. Now let's see if we can get hold of some of those things... what are they called? Oh, yeah:

Ah, Huinesoron, bitter, but all too true...

If we don't /get/ them, this is going to be a film done entirely in stick figures.

Mish-mash sounds absolubtly fine.
As to the artistry: I can draw to a certain degree, but everyone has their own style. Also, drawing out twenty-four pictures for each second is going to take time... In short, synchronising this is going to be a technical nightmare.
Although I admit readily that people who keep changing looks will be better than stick figures.

mish-mash is fine with me. I do animals and clothes, armour, weaponry...that stuff.

I see your point Starwind, but I think random style changing might be rather fun! As if all the other characters are Maia...
Perhaps we could allot artists particular characters to stick all the way through with?
Very good to see you all back, by the way.

Problem being that I can never draw people the same way twice.

Well...I can't really draw very well without taking an excessively long time about it, but I'd be willing to do what I can. Maybe recruit my more artistically inclined friend.
And I'll volunteer for editing.
