Well, well...welcome! Nice to have another helping hand come aboard and boy do we need it. Take a long look around, if you haven't already, to get your bearings and then jump into the fun! The participation is slightly down these days but I sense that everything should be revving up pretty soon. Nice to have you.
G.

Thanks for the welcome.
I have done a bit of looking around and I'm pretty excited about having a hand in this project.
It seems that I have experience in a lot of the things that are needed here and I would be very happy to help out.
I am also a trained graphic and fine artist, saw I may be doing some preliminary design work.

Hello Lennaire! It seems that "G" got here before I did to extend you a warm welcome. We are very happy to have you. As "G" mentioned the momentum has slowed a bit. hS is our resident staff member but he is pursuing other projects currently and hasn't been around much. He and I were actively editing the original script for a few months, then we both got sidetracked and then "G" joined us and has presented us with an entirely new script with his own spin on things, but he has mentioned another project that he also must attend to. hS and I have both offered a few comments on the new script, but for the record I am pursuing my Bachelors in Government and then will be going to Law School, so I'm buried in homework, therefore I am not in a position to offer as much input as I was a few months ago before classes started. Currently we are in a holding pattern because we aren't sure which script hS wants to use or if he wants to combine both of them and unfortunately no one is around at all to handle auditions. It is my understanding that the intention is to do this as an animated movie, so we definitely are in dire need of CG and art work and we will need voice actors. You seem to be the total package of everything that we are in need of and looking for, so if you can hang with us while we get a script prepared for you to work with that would be way cool. Also if you have any friends and/or family that you can persuade to head this way who can help with CG and/or voice acting that would be a plus. But you may have volunteered yourself to be the one to organize, coodinate and arrange the CG project and the auditions, because hS, my-self and "G" are all writers. I briefly read over some of your posts and there is no one here that can answer some of your questions, except perhaps hS and I fear he will tell you the same as I---yes we need you desperately and all that you have to offer, but for now you are a one man show and it will be up to you "make it happen"'. Anyway, welcome aboard and please don't get discouraged or abandoned us, things are just really moving slow right now. Maybe you and "G" can team up and make some progress together while hS and I are working on other things. Surprise us!

Yes, there is hope even if I have to beg, borrow, steal and kill for it!
Really, I would kill to see this film fly!

Really, I would kill to see this film fly! You sound a tad like Feanor at Alqualonde. I hope you meant figuratively.

Yes, I meant figuratively.
Though your likening that statement tells me that I was right when I said that if I was an elf in Tolkien's world I would be a Noldor in the house of Feanor.

Hello, Aerandir! Welcome aboard. We are always happy to have new members. Unfortunately there isn't any pieces of film for you to see. We are still working on the scripts and discussing how to actually do the films. We have several writers, a couple of actors and a couple of people who might could actually put together some animated action together, but nothing has been done about putting the film together or tapping into our limited acting talent because they are waiting on us writers to finish the script. I've encouraged them to take what script is available and just put together a test run so we can see what it looks like and possibly what changes we may need to make, but this has never come to fruition. I don't know what talents you are bringing to the table, but if you have the ability to put something together for us we would all be really excited to see what you can show us. Again welcome! We are glad you have joined our little group.

Hello and welcome to the project. As Tamitha mentioned, there is nothing to be seen of the film, at least not yet. I am currently finishing up a second version of the first script and will be posting it soon. Once the edits, revisions, and consolidations are completed on what ever script we use, then hopefully, we can get the visuals going in earnest. I hope to do some storyboarding in late May or early June. Please let us know how you may be able to assist in this endeavor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for joining and showing interest.

Ello, everyone : D
You can call me Daeh ("deh"), or anything else that strikes your fancy. I've been geeking out over the professor's work again lately, so I decided to join here. I have yet to reread lotr/Silm so I'm really rusty right now, forgive me. (I will fix this as soon as I have a weekend to spare, promise!)
As for my potential usefulness to you all: writing is my forte so I'd love to help with editing if you need me. I doubt my art is on par with the vision for the finished product, but I'm decent with concept art & character design (I'll look for some examples if you're interested). I'm also a classical musician; I can't write much (although I know some people who can and might be interested in the project) but I can offer insight/general geeking there.
